The 100th dead person is a 15-year-old man who was killed yesterday during a manifestation in the state of Zulia, AFP reports.
The opposition is protesting almost daily on the country's roads of nearly three and a half months to denounce the governance of Maduro, which it calls a failure, and requires early presidential elections. The festivities have often been associated with physical confrontations between protesters and rule forces.
The call for a general strike was a call from the opposition to stop the head of state's project calling a constitutional Assembly.
