At the meeting, as stated in the statement, Osman referred to the Government's commitment to implementing the 3- 6-9 plan, meaning fulfillment of the International Emergency Reforms, in the interest of the country's Euro-integration process.
The deputy prime minister, Osmani, expressed satisfaction with the already multi-year bilatheral co-operation between the two countries, which, as he said, has shown concrete and sustainable results from which citizens benefit first and foremost. In this context, he stressed Japanese assistance in the health sector, as well as cited the donation of medical equipment and vehicles for primary health care in more municipalities, but he also said Japan was shown as a true friend of Macedonia a year ago, provided a 100,000-euro assistance to overcome the consequences of the floods, and participated in providing support for the refugee crisis.
In the coming period of co-operation between the two states will be reinforced with the signing of the Agreement for Technical Co-operation between the Government of Japan and the Republic of Macedonia, which is currently under the final phase of consultation, despite the continuation of projects already launched for technical assistance and training in key sectors, he added.
“I really believe that through your embassy and your presence in Macedonia our co-operation will expand in the coming period and that in the coming years we will have more successful developmental co-operation”, Deputy Prime Minister Osmani added further.
