The North Atlantic Council strongly condemns the possibility of a series of ballistic missiles with intercstinctial rays from the Democratic Republic of Korea (Northern Central), as it did on July 4th, that would create a major escalation and directly violate numerous UN Security Council resolutions (OKB).
In a statement issued by NATO, it reportedly clearly shows the growing threat North Korea poses The RPC for the Alliance and global security.
“We support UN efforts to impose additional sanctions in North Korea and call on all nations to fully implement existing UN sanctions and make further efforts to implement crucial pressures to convince the regime of the Democratic Republic of Korea to give up its current threatening and destabilizing path.
The Democratic People's Republic of Korea, must refrain from further provocative and illegal acts, respect its obligations under UN Security Council resolutions and international commitments, and abandon all existing nuclear and ballistic missile programmes, in a complete, verifiable and irreversible manner, said NATO response.
