All six Muslim deputies in Germany's Parliament have voted in favour of the law that lives among the same gender marriages, until Chancellor Angela Merkel voted against saying marriage takes place between husband and wife.

The Greens Party has announced that among it four Muslim lawmakers -- Cem Ozdemir, Ekin Deligoz, Ozcan Mutlu and Omid Nouripour -- who have voted for approval of legislation.
Even Muslim MP from Merkel's party, Cemille Giousouf, has voted in favour of same-sex marriages.
Activist Philippe Henriques wrote on Twitter: “She [Cemile] is a Muslim and conservative woman. She voted in favour until most of her colleagues from the CDU voted against it. Merkel feels that marriage is sacred between husband and wife. Most Germans and all Muslim deputies believe in equality. Who needs integration?”
