MMPH holds public hearings for the expropriation in Hade Shipule

The Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning has decided to hold a public hearing on August 10th, where the issue of expropriation of private lands in Hades and Shiptilë of Obilic will be discussed.

This meeting comes after warnings that Kosovo may soon enter an energy crisis if KEK does not take to the use of 52 hectares of private property in these villages in order to mine untapped coals there, Klan Kosova reports.

It should be that the energy crisis is causing delays in expropriating newly built property and houses in Obilic Shipule, with the aim of benefiting state compensation.

In response to this ministry, it has also become known that on July 17th of last year this proposal was submitted to Government, and the exquivi last July 21st of last year has issued the decision with which it has approved further examination of the request for expropriation.

The expropriation process from the moment the request for expropriation was presented and to the release of the Final Decision can be carried out within 2.5 -3 months, as defined by the Law for Disposition”.
