The head of the Gjakova municipality, Mimoza Kusari, will officially withdraw from the commission of the mayor.
She says, that since the moment of the Kosovo Parliament's first constitutional session, she will also officially withdraw from the commission of the mayor of this government mandate, broadcast news.
Kusari is addressing the citizens of Gjakova that “I have felt endless joys and satisfactions, but also pain and frustration over the reality around us. We laughed and cried together, celebrated and commemorated together. We've had successes and setbacks, long and short, and failures, but never for lack of will, but for circumstances created and inherited”, she writes on Facebook.
Dear citizens of the Gjakova municipality,
Elections in each democratic system, when held free and fair (or roughly right), provide messages and results on which it needs to be reflected.
As your mayor for the past four years, I have felt endless joy and satisfaction, but also pain and frustration over the reality around us. We laughed and cried together, celebrated and commemorated together. We've had successes and setbacks, but it's about circumstances created and inherited.
We fixed a lot of things that weren't right, we put a lot more on the straight track. Gjakova has a future, Gjakova has hope, and there are professional boys and girls, with integrity and maturity to work and finish everything we've started on this mandate, difficult but not even impossible (as if others have called it).
This message of mine to you tonight is without polarization and without the tendency of judging any sovereign assessment regarding the outcome of the last elections. In reverse, it is a respect for all of you and all of our citizens who voted in the June 11th elections. Thank you.
For me, however, as Chairman of Yours and Chairman of the newest party in Kosovo, the Alternative, this result obliges me to look beyond the framework of the Communist leader. It obliges me to take my pledge in the last three months of municipal governance, as Kosovo Parliament deputy and to make sure that the change for which a large majority of Kosovars voted will reflect on the creation of a different, new and future-turned government, not the past. A government that will deal with solving the problems of the citizens of the Republic and not creating them.
Never question my interest or commitment to Gjakova. My entire political presence is related to Gjakova. I went into politics to compete for Gjakova in 2009. When I failed to succeed the first time, Gjakova returned in 2013, leaving behind two government posts. With Gjakova and near Gjakova I will continue to be. That is never a question.
In the municipality of Gjakova, governance is on track. I can't succeed if I don't have a successful team around myself. It's boys and girls who work exclusively for a transparent and fair government system. We've started and established an example of government.
But a goal does not become a magic wand, sweat, detection, and hard work for each of us to make the goal of developing Gjakova a reality.
And we'll be with you if you want another warrant. The alternative will compete in Gjakova, even for another mandate of local government. Will it be me or anyone else who competes in October remains to be decided, OUR project will compete again on October 22nd, 2017.
The remaining three months of local governance until municipal elections are held, there are finalisations of some of the most important jobs initiated earlier, and several other beginnings of major strategic projects, which have been prepared for years and will begin implementing this year. We give it a lot better than we inherited it, so we know we're on the right track. You have to decide if you want to continue with us for four more years.
For all this time together, I thank you from my heart and inform you that we will be together officially until the call of the first Kosovo Assembly Constituent session, from which the date even officially withdraws from the commission of the mayor for this Government mandate. (like). /Lajmi.net/
