German Chancellor Angela Merkel has met with Chinese President Xi Yinging in Berlin, within the framework of diplomatic meetings before the launch of the G20 group summit, which will be held during July 7-8th in Hamburg, broadcasts Klan Kosova.
Xi has said in Berlin that it has launched a new” phase of” relations between China and Germany, while Merkel has said she would like the “opening of a joint market” with China.
The Chancellor has also said Germany can co-operate with China on projects around Africa and Afghanistan.
Chinese President Xi, who arrived in Germany after meetings in Moscow, has been led by military honours by German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier before the start of talks with Chancellor Merkel.
