Merkel: Europe gets its destiny in its hands

German Chancellor Angela Merkel said her state will give a new spirit to French-German relations.

This, according to Merkel, will be done by promising closer co-operation between the two major European countries. The German Chancellor after a joint meeting of the cabinets of the two French-German states, among other things, said Europe should take its destiny in its own hands. /Periscopi/
