According to Tahiri, all he has stated is that “will vote for Parliament Speaker whoever is Albanian”, not necessarily Kadri Veselin.
In this regard Behgjet Pacolli has also been declared, saying Tahiri represents the AKR and the positions of this party.

Regarding some misunderstandings the portals gave a statement.
AKR deputies are unique and determined to represent the AKR's political positions.
Each of the AKR deputies, even Mr. Labinot Tahiri, who is deputy head of the AKR, represent the leadership and structure of this party. Moreover, Mr. Tahiri is a great humanist and he treats all things with spirits and emotions.
All those who are putting pressure on MPs are urged to give up these undemocratic and non-legal acts.
The AKR has a political stance known for public opinion and its voters. Therefore, party deputies will implement these political decisions.
People who exercise these pressures must know that political parties are founded and function according to certain rules that deserve to be respected.
