In fact, Kurti has received tens of thousands more votes than at the time he was chairman of his party.
In the early parliamentary elections, held in 2014, Kurti had garnered 63 thousand votes, or about 800,000 votes less this year.
His party, the VV, made remarkable increases in these elections, becoming the largest party in the Kosovo Assembly.
