The police of the Republic of Kosovo today will destroy a large number of small and small arms.
This event is organised by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and supported by the Central Office for Small Arms Control and Lehta (SEESAC), the German Foreign Office and the United Nations Development Programme.
Kosovo will participate in this regional event by destroying a large number of parts of Small and Light Weapons, as well as several thousand other parts.
The destruction will be organised by Kosovo Police and held at “Metal Holding” in Ferizaj.
The event will be opened by Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Behar Selimi, UNDP Programme Co-ordinator Mrs. Valbona Bogujevci, representatives of the European Union Office in Kosovo, representatives from the German Embassy in Kosovo, and Kosovo Police Deputy General Director Naim Rexha.
