In addition, the country risks losing another 75m euros from the EU, related to Fund programmes
Keeping early elections and delaying in the creation of new institutions are costing Kosovo's state no less than 90m euros, funds shared by international institutions for the country.
It's about the loss of 15m euros from the programme with the International Monetary Fund, which expires on August 4th 2017, as well as another 75m euros from the European Union, IPA funds for Kosovo earmarked for public administration resources, etc., which are related to domestic programmes with the IMF, respectively.
The resident representative of the International Monetary Fund(FMN) in Kosovo, Ruud Vermeulen, has confirmed to the newspaper Zerreı that this Friday (August 4th 2017) expires the programme between the IMF and Kosovo institutions, with which there will be no final distribution of about 15m euros under this agreement, since, as he says, the fourth and last review of the programme cannot be completed on the election background.
