According to police, national Feriz Hasani, 34, resident of Pristina, has lost his life trying to save his wife. The latter has been put into the water for bathing, but there has been a difficulty and has taken considerable risks while swimming.
Her husband has been able to recognize her, and she has quickly swam toward her. The 34-year-old is taught that he has arrived on time, having managed to save his wife, who has managed to make it to shore alive. But this intervention by Feriz Hasani has resulted fatally for him, after he himself was killed.
It is reported that the 34-year-old was suffering from seizures and that it was not advisable to enter the water for washing. After saving his wife, he has tried to get ashore, but also because of his illness, the Kosovo citizen has failed to escape, thus losing his life. Other invaders have been put in the water to help 34-year-olds and have quickly transported him to the Velipoja health center, but it has arrived there without life. Young Feriz Hasani is the third victim on Velipoja beach.
Earlier, the waves have taken the life of Kosovar Musa Kurtroli. The 75-year-old has been swimming on the beach “Ada” in Velipoja when he drowned. Another Kosovo citizen has lost his life. Velipoja beach has several watchtowers, but none of them are functional. It's been set up for three years, but since they were built, the surveillance towers haven't worked. The absence of coastal guards has become the cause of this in three years.
They were never present on the beach in Velipoja. Thus, all who have had problems or difficulties swimming have lost their lives by failing to escape. The lucky ones were rescued from the beachmen who were close to them. But this is quite dangerous, as there have been some precedents in which rescue beachers have lost their own lives. The invaders have often sought the presence of coastal guards, but despite demands and citizens who drown from time to time, no measure has been taken.
