It was a pleasure to attend the Women's Leadership Summit held this week at the Rockefeller Foundation Centre in Bellagio, Italy.
During the summit, we discussed opportunities to make women part of the country's emerging processes in solving global challenges such as economic development, human security, climate change.
We pledged that we will continue co-operation even after the summit ends with the conviction that together we can create a platform where the voice of more women leaders will be heard.
Under the summit, I was also part of a panel of discussion where I talked about good leadership and transformative leaders. Part of this panel were Joyce Banda, Malawi's former president, and Aunt Thomasdottir, presidential candidate in Iceland's last presidential election.
