Ivanka takes father's place at G20 summit

The American president had left for a while to meet with the leader from Indonesia during the G20 meeting.

Ivanka Trump is an adviser to her father, yet in the absence of the leader his presence is usually covered by senior state officials.

According to the BBC, there has been no such precedent so far, while this has been highly criticised in social media.
