Outgoing Prime Minister Isa Mustafa has commemorated the former party member he heads, the LDK, Saban Manajn, on the 17th anniversary of his death.
Mustafa, through a Facebook script, has asked institutions to light up Manaj's murder as soon as possible.
“Today, it was 17 years from one of the most cruel, politically motivated murders in post-war Kosovo. Shaban Manaj will always be remembered as a competent lawyer, devout national activist and prominent LDK leader in Istog. The institutions of justice must eventually illuminate the perpetrators and promoters of Shaban Manaj's murder and many other prominent postwar personalities. The honor of the life and the work of Shaban Manaj!”, Mustafa wrote.
Last year, then Kosovo President Atifete Jahjaga had decorated it with the highest state decoration, Order “Hero of Kosovo”.
The LDK's prominent event, Shaban Manaj, was kidnapped on July 23rd 2000 and was later found dead under still unlightened circumstances.
