Inaccuracy between the Ministry and UPA does not open competition for new students

Pristina University “Hasan Pristina”, until 2: 00 p.m., has not made the decision to approve the Pristina University Senate's proposal for enrolling students at the first level of academic year 2017/2018 by the Ministry of Science and Technology Education.

So he hasn't even opened the student admission competition for this academic year. Pristina University Rector “Hosan Pristina” Marjan Dema for Kosova Prerss has made this known.

Dema said that many student students have come out today to deliver the documents but that have returned.

Rector Dema said the contest will be announced as the Ministry of Education submits the decision to approve the Pristina University Senate's proposal for enrolling students at the first level of academic year 2017/2018.

We're going to announce the Concursor very quickly, as soon as the Ministry makes the decision, and tomorrow we have the approval of the conditions for registration, and I believe that in the nearest term we will announce. What depends on us is that we are ready and waiting to make the decision. I apologize, it doesn't come from the University of Pristina, it's coming from the media or I don't know from whom, from those who have been unaware that today the census begins, today the competition begins. The competition starts from the moment we announce the competition, it's about dates, it's going to be the agenda, it's going to be everything transparent, it's going to be everything beforehand announced”, he said.

Decisions for announcing the competition have been sent to Pristina University Rectorate “Hosan Pristina”. At least so it is according to Education Minister Ersim Bajrami's adviser.

Also, through the communique MANT had announced since today, all candidates interested in studies at public universities would be able to apply for admission to universities in Pristina, Prizren, Gjakova, Gjilan, Peja, Mitrovica and Ferizaj. /
