Her husband's family beat her, that's why (Video)

A woman in Cataleya, Punjab, has been beaten by her husband's family because of the birth of a daughter.

According to India's local media, the woman named Meena Kashyap 35 was reportedly attacked by her husband's family because she was born a female baby, writes Periscope.

The lower video shows Meena screaming as they're hitting her with a hockey stick that is believed to be her brother-in-law and a friend.

Her husband's family have heard that Meena has complained about the treatment they received in April of this year. /Periscopi/
