In an interview for the Serbian newspaper <x0Nin”, Deputy Assistant Secretary of the United States of America Hoyt Brian Yee has spoken about Balkan membership in the EU by saying “Nummer a priority should be economic progress.
Most countries in the region have already grown by 3% to 4% per year, but even by growth to 6%, these countries cannot reach the EU average for the next three decades. Do not ignore the corruption present in the Balkans”. With small diplomatic career interruptions, American Hoyt is “linked to” for decades with the Balkans, almost two and a half. /Periscopi/
