The candidate for prime minister from the LDK-AKR coalition and Alternatives, Avdullah Hoti on Thursday, has called on all political parties stemming from the June 11th election outcome to respect the Constitution and constitutional deadlines for the first establishment of Kosovo institutions.
He said the country should not be missed a single day for the constitutionalisation of the new government, not to suffer businesses a single day due to lack of institutions. Hoti said they are unwilling to co-operate with PAN and, according to him, the moment the coalition's right to miss. PAN for formation of institutions will soon be engaged to start discussions with all political parties except PDK for forming government.
“After this constitutional right is consumed by the first coalition, by the coalition PAN, we get into discussions. At this stage we cannot hold discussions as we are not equipped to form government. It's constitutionally fair of coalition Without trying to establish the Government, maybe PAN manages to establish government by cooperating with Vetevendosje to make the necessary votes. But as far as I'm aware and how I see the VV statements are not willing to cooperate with them. We are not willing to cooperate with them and it seems technically impossible to establish a Government by the coalition PAN. We are therefore calling for the use of their constitutional right to prove the establishment of the government and immediately pass to other parliamentary groups that could be offered for the votes needed for establishing the government. At that moment that right is consumed we will then react and engage in discussion with all political parties except PDK”, Hoti stressed.
Hoti made these comments with business representatives, where we discussed the need and advance dialogue with businesses. According to him, progress achieved for two and a half years of governance should not be damaged by the lack of institutions now.
