The government will cancel Macedonia's gasification tender. From there they say they have received only one bid and the procedure will be annulled in accordance with the law.
In order to continue the gasification process, in yesterday's government meeting due to the former chairman's resignation for tender procedures, as a temporary solution to that post has been named Ljupco Petpudieski, who is deputy prime minister's adviser to economic issues Koco Angjusev.
The appointment is a temporary solution with a single task task to finalise the tender procedure. While the government of the Republic of Macedonia at yesterday's meeting reviewed and approved the information on the tender procedure for providing contracts for public-private partnerships for financing, maintenance and development of the natural gas distribution system in regions 1.2.3- reportedly in the government's announcement.
Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Koco Agoyushev, today from Triesta, said the government will work on the gasification of Macedonia, with what the most favourable investment climate should be possible for both domestic and foreign companies, as well as free energy for households.
We will work on creating a business environment for healthy and successful companies rather than creating political companies from power. Construction of the infrastructure will be a priority, we will work on building road infrastructure and gasification of the country, and through infrastructure we will testify that we are strongly committed to regional ties. ”- stated Koco Aguushev ʹ deputy prime minister on economic issues.
The country's gasification is now announced several years and will not be realised. In the past as well as now, several times in line failed the tenders for gasification of Skopje and other regions in the country.
The assessment phase also canceled the fifth tender for gasification of the Skopje region because the selected company called for the term's approval. Due to the offer by a company, the tender also failed to build a distribution network in 63 municipalities in eastern, western and central Macedonia. For the construction of gasification in central and eastern Macedonia, it was planned to spend about 28m euros, while for the western part of the country along with Pellagonine 23m euros. The distribution network should be built with a public partnership, private partnership. /Alsat -M
