Investigations initiated at the beginning of April initially on allegations of human rights violations have probably sparked the biggest scandal over Albanians and other communities are paying over 8m euros in electricity bills for the four Serb municipalities in northern Kosovo.
Meanwhile, in response to the Electric Energy Regulatory Office, granted to the Ombudsman's institution, it has been argued that Z. RRE has announced that according to licensed operators, unfated energy in 2016 in the northern part of Kosovo 252 GUH, which contains about 5.24% of distribution demand and that the overall value of energy billed in the country's north is about 8m euros.
The ZER has added that considering this value is incomplete by Kosovo institutions and having no other choice to keep the electromagnetic system in functional state, Z. RRE has been forced to cover up losses, including losses in the north, distribute all consumers, writes Indexline.
THE ZER for more has stressed that distribution system operator (OSSH) is unable to access the country's north and that losses caused in the north by I SSH considers it “political loss”, which is out of O's control SSH and that O SSH cannot perform its functions because of the high cost of such losses, which would jeopardise regular electricity supplies across the country.
According to official response, the primary responsibility for the destiny of the flow spent by the northern Serbs to the rest of consumers is Z. THREE because on February 6, 2012, you had decided no 399 2012 to apply such a form of luck.
Also, on May 22nd 2017, the Ombudsman has sent a letter and the Ministry of Economic Development (MZHE), the Energy Department, to learn the position of this ministry regarding the fate of the flow spent in the north to citizens in other parts of Kosovo.
Department of Energy. MZHE on May 29th 2017 has sent answers to the ombudsman's request, where, among other things, it has confirmed that the inability to access distribution system operator (KEDS) and Public Supply Company (KESKO) relates to the major political problem of integration of four northern municipalities.
Meanwhile, until another decision that would lead to the suspension of this kind of fate, Kosovo citizens are continuing to pay millions for the flow spent by northern Serbs.
