Vetevendosje's prime ministerial candidate, Albin Kurti, along with party member Glauk Konjufca, has met Germany's ambassador, Angelika Viets, today, where they discussed the importance and possibility of co-operation between Kosovo and Germany.
According to the announcement, political developments in Kosovo have been discussed during the meeting, three days before the Kosovo Assembly Constituent session, writes Periscopi.
The “in particular was talked about political developments in Kosovo on the eve of the Constituent session of the sixth Parliament of the Republic of Kosovo. Ambassador Viets congratulated Mr. Kurt and Mr. Konjufca for the election outcome and expressed her commitment to supporting any parliamentary majority forming Kosovo's next government”, it said.

Today, at the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Pristina, they were nominated for prime minister from V. SUNDAY! Albin Kurti, and, Minister of Movement, Mr. Glauk Konjufca. They were received by the outgoing ambassador, Mrs. Angelika Viets, and First Secretary, Mr. Martin Meger.
The importance and possibilities of co-operation between Kosovo and Germany were discussed at this meeting, both at the bilatheral level and in that of European integrations. The investment-oriented economic development and employment, as well as the rule of the law to fight corruption and protect citizens' rights, were the main themes.
In particular, it was talked about political developments in Kosovo on the eve of the constitutional session of the sixth Parliament of the Republic of Kosovo. Ambassador Viets congratulated Mr. Kurt and Mr. Konjufca for the election outcome and expressed its commitment to supporting any parliamentary majority forming Kosovo's next government. Mr. Kurt and Mr. Konjufca thanked Ambassador Viets for Germany's contribution to Kosovo and stressed their readiness and interest in continued contacts and other meetings.
