Facebook has stepped up measures to fight false news

The initiative, dubbed “The Defense of Digital Democracy”, is led by former heads of the Hillary Clinton and Republican Mitt Romney election campaign.
Facebook, with 2 billion users, has become an easy tool to debate about political education, but was also used as a major platform to spread false news and propaganda during the US presidential race.
“Include Facebook” in this project was made after Chief Executive Marc Zuckerberg said, there would be a crazy “ide” if through “Facebook” has spread false news, and which has impacted the last presidential election in the US, “Business Insider” reported, the Periscope broadcast.
Facebook Security chief Alex Stamos announced the support of this initiative at the opening of the security conference “Black Hat” in Las Vegas on Wednesday.
