These are the six demands of Astrit Pattozi for Lulzim Basha

However, he said his decision is largely conditioned by the request for the resignation of self-righteous leader Lulzim Basha. Pattozi said in a statement to the media that Basha must step down as the main responsibility of losing the DP in the June 25th elections.

THE DEATH OF PLOTE

Worried about the DP's dramatic outcome in these elections and convinced that its recovery could occur only after a process of honoring reflection and a fair race, I am here today to take all my responsibilities in the function of this goal.

Supported by a very large number of members and leaders of the Democratic Party in years and set in terms of failing to bring out another real and serious candidacy, I declare that I am ready to run for chairmanship of the Democratic Party, in case there will be sufficient guarantees for free, fair and unconfirmed elections.

In the name of thousands of Democrats, who support me in this challenge, I demand, not more, not less, but clean game rules:

1-Short and non-free resignations of President Lulzim Basha as the main responsibility for the disappointing outcome in this election. His deployment to the position of any other candidate who will enter the race, as the minimum condition for sight. His departure from the office, along with his staff and the release of the headquarters from the presence of all candidates until the process of electing the new DP chairman is complete.

2. The statuteial normalisation of the race process, doing no so far non-legigration actions, through the decision of the two vice-presidents. Headship is the only statute's organ that has the right to declare the race and guarantee equality in it. (point 30, stage 2 of Statut);
3. The secretary general must take over the datework of membership, guaranteeing the long-standing rule in the DP that all the memberships of the last 2 months (from June 1, 2017) as well as all memberships made contrary to the statute (without a decision of assembly or headship of the branch or headquarters, Article 13 of the Statut) do not have the right to vote in these elections. The electors' lists should be given to the candidates, not later than 3 days from the competition's announcement, they should be published and posted electronically in the Web of branch leadership and in hardware in public environments of the PD branch headquarters;
4. It takes sufficient time to debate, analysis and reflection, as well as to campaign for all candidates.
5. The Elexoral Operations Organising and Control Commission (Unit 46 of Statut) should be headed by one of the functional secretaries (Societies or Human Resources) and should have members equal in composition by candidates in the race. This commission should draft and publish the electoral campaign regulation, which is missing due to the National Council's (Zenni 37 of Statut) disapproval. This regulation should ensure equal access of candidates to administration and decision-making of the election process.
6. According to Article No. 30, stage 2 of the statute, headship must establish a commission to audit the race process in all its organisational elements. This commission, headed by the Secretary General, should have a similar number of members in its composition from potential candidates in the race.

The commission must be authorised by headship to also exercise the attributes of the Central Appeal Commission (Nen.47) unless this commission exists because it is not elected by the National Council.

According to us, these requirements are the minimum guarantees to go into a fair and comprehensive process in domestic elections in the DP.

So after this false conjecture.

I invite Mr. Lulzim Basha to come up with personal ambitions and decide the Democratic Party's fate and future on his immediate interests. I am ready to work with him for a real race aimed at the quick recovery of the Democratic Party.

But, if our right requests for a real race are not met, he will take all responsibility for blowing up the only opportunity to get out of the Democratic Party crisis because of himself.

If that happens, each member of the Democratic Party has the right to refuse and not allow with all democratic means an electoral farce, aimed at robbing the president's mandate table by Mr. Lulzim Basha.
