In the Quebec City mosque in Canada, in which six people lost their lives during January of this year when an armed attacker opened fire during evening prayers were left a counterfeit Koran and offensive message.
David Poitras, spokesman for Quebec City, has indicated that a forged Koran and an extremely offensive message were found in the package sent to the mosque address.
He stressed that investigation has been filed over the incident, and the culprits are being sought.
Quebecut's prime minister, Philip Couldard, stated that the incident in question is “totally unacceptable and disgusting”, the Anadolu Agency reported.
“Doemos should condemn such actions. We see that people around the world live together. This package is clear evidence of aggressive”, Cowillard said.
