Not everyone can now own a car. According to this law, the owner of the vehicle, in case of the recording, should own the driver's license and the car buyers should make reregistering.
Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Valdet Hoxha said that the automotive law is sponsored by the Ministry of Infrastructure, but is only being implemented as such with all legal provisions.
Hoxha, further on, added that this law has passed all filters, where it was voted by the representatives of the people, but he did not rule it out as a possibility that the law as such could be changed into certain provisions.
But, the Kosovo Motorisation Association Lawyer, Taulant Hodaj, said the automotive law would not be functional, like previous laws that have not found implementation in practice.
Hodaj said that laws on our part are taken by European directives and implemented without even being analyzed.
