Kosovo police, namely, the Directorate for the Investigation of Human Being Trafficking, under operational and investigative actions, with the aim of preventing crime and fighting all negative phenomena, including criminal activities, during the weeks we are successfully leaving behind, have carried out several operational tactical operations.
Police operations have been conducted in various regions, such as Pristina, Ferizaj, Mitrovica, etc., where eight (8) suspected persons involved in the criminal work prostitution and offering houses for prostitution, countervasing prostitution work, and material evidence that could be used for legal proceedings have been confiscated.
These illegal acts, as well as phenomena, in addition to damaging the country's image, increasing social uncertainty, raising family problems also affect the health of citizens, as police have also faced those who have exercised prostitution and who have been infected with various diseases. Therefore, citizens are appealed to avoid such actions and for every suspected case to inform the police so that competent bodies can take precautions.
