Albania's number of tourists rises, Kosovars take first place

In June alone, Albania has been visited by 437 thousand 820 tourists, marking an 11 per cent increase compared to last year. Of the total, 195 thousand and 48 people from that number had gone to Albania on vacation.
In June, the majority of visitors, 31 percent, have come from Kosovo, following Macedonia with 12.1 percent and Montenegro at 6.5 percent.
Most visitors have entered Albania via land HINA 76.9 percent, 14.7 percent by air, and 8.4 percent by sea.
According to the Bank of Albania, it broadcasts Top Channel, in 2016 the Albanian economy benefited 1.5 billion euros in tourism revenues, being equal to 15 percent of national production.
