Italian media say he is 48-year-old of Albanian origin, Gezim Haka.
He lost his life while working with a metal-cut machine, and under unexplained circumstances, it was said to have been a piece of metal that cut through his neck.
The first aid of doctors and colleagues has been in vain, as the strike was fatal.
