Albania brought to Albania by one leg, executed his friends after a 60 million-strong robbery

That's how the British daily “DililyMail” begins, while announcing that Saliman Barci, 42-year-old from the Burreli sentenced by Albanian justice to 25 years in prison, has been extradited to our country for double murder.

The Albanian, who emigrated to Britain 14 years ago with false identity, fought until the end not to be extradited, claiming that his return to Albania was a violation of human rights.

“DailyMail” writes that Barci was extradited last week.

“Home Office confirmed that the killer was boarded on a plane towards Albania last week “, the article said.

Along with two others, Progress Ibrahimi and Arthur Gjota, Barci committed a robbery worth 60 million dollars in 1997. But after receiving the money, he decided that he loved them all for himself, so he shot his two associates to death.

He arrived in Britain with his wife in 2002, claiming he was refugee from Kosovo.

In 2009 he was sentenced in absentia for the murder of two people in the city of Burrel, July 1997, and an arrest warrant.

It was banned in 2005 in London. By now, Barchi, the father of three children, will have to pay off the 25-year sentence for double murder.

During his battle in Britain, he declared he would be killed if he returned to Albania because of blood feuds.

The defence also claimed Barci, who had British citizenship, would have problems with the necessary treatments if he went to an Albanian prison.

According to the DailyMail, he was accompanied towards Tirana by a group of Interpol officers, weeks after the London Supreme Court decided to extradite him.

“Can confirm that Saliman Barci was extradited on 13 July and his British passport have been revoted”, a Home Office spokesman said. /tvclean.al/
