According to Kosovo Police data, for six months this year, 53 people have lost their lives in traffic accidents.
Police calls for caution added to communications as if they are not producing results. The number of people who lose their lives in traffic accidents continues to be high.
Daut Hoxha, spokesperson for the Kosovo Police, has said that in the first six months of the year, 50 traffic accidents have occurred, where 53 people have lost their lives.
Most of the cases, according to police, it has been found that accidents occurred because of the loss of speed, the failure to keep the distance between vehicles, and as a result of the technical state of roads and vehicles.
One cause of accidents, according to police, is the use of mobile phones and driving under the influence of fatigue or sleep.
