Political parties in Kosovo still under “zhyr” in debt

The electoral panel for Ances and Parashtre (PZAP) has fined 11 political subjects in the country. Coalition PDK-AAK-Nisma coalition LDK-AKR-Alternatives, Vetevendosje Movement, Serbian List, KDTP, SLS, PDS, Party Word, PAI, PDU and VAKAT total 348 thousand and 900 euros in debt.

Mula Descu, the head of the secretariat at PZAP, has announced about “Indescsonline” that the subjects have broken the code of courtesy during the election campaign in the June 11th parliamentary elections.

“The PZAP has submitted fines to political subjects because they have broken the LZP's code of courtesy during the election campaign in the Kosovo Parliamentary Elections held on 11 June 2017 to a total of 348,900,900,1>, he has declared.

With the highest debt amount leading to Kadri Veselini's coalition, Ramush Haradinaj and Fatmir Limaj, worth 158 thousand euros.

Following them lies Isa Mustaf's LAA coalition, Behgjet Pacolli and Mimoza Kusari-Lila, amounting to 71 thousand and 700 euros.

The third country belongs to the Vetevendosje Movement with 62 thousand and 600 euros. And behind them is the Serb List, which is forced to them. PZAP's 35 thousand and 600 euros.

Descu has indicated that the deadline for paying the debt is 15 days from the moment the decision is accepted by the political subject. According to him, parties that do not pay their debt to PZAP cannot be certified for the Municipal Elections and for the mayor of Kosovo municipalities, which will be held on October 22nd 2017. /Indesksonline/
