After the request for his extradition was withdrawn, Ugur Toksoy said without justice to Kosovo.
The withdrawal of the extradition request for Ugur Tosoy made him say that today in Kosovo without justice.
Toxoy said that despite what is happening in Turkey, he expects Kosovo to be more active for human rights.
Turkey does what it sends new evidence, I have no connection to Turkey”, Toxoy said.
Edeh Adem Vokshi, Toxoy's lawyer, said Kosovo's justice won with that decision.
Kosovo's “Justice won this decision because you had no evidence for extradition and with such a step Kosovo showed it is a step further towards developing justice”, lawyer Vokshi said.
Vokshi said Turkey has no further evidence.
If Turkey had proof for sure it would have sent them but they had no evidence. Turkey as a friendly state not to burden Kosovo with unexplained requests”, Vokshi ordered.
Ugur Toxoy is being requested by Turkey as linked to the Fentullah Gulen Movement.
He was arrested at the end of October, and was later assigned to custody.
Toxoy was released from custody on November 3rd, on bail of 5 thousand euros.
Aleksander Lumezi, chief state prosecutor at the “Life Commission in Kosovo”, said Kosovo does not extradite the political fugitives.
