Former Interior Minister Saimir Tahiri has said at today's hearing session at the Randa Criminal Court that the passport blocking measure must be lifted, as the prosecution has no new evidence, and these evidence it has had in the file since 20 October.
But the judge, after he withdrew for decision, did not remove his move, but gave Tahiri's passport deadlock.
At the closed-door session Tahiri is taught that he asked to remove the lockup of the passport and said that I don't have a problem with the measure, you can keep me in jail, but I have a problem in principle. You have no new evidence, you've had this evidence since October 20th, but why have you been looking for a month and a few days late for this jam? There's no new evidence. I've been aware of these tests since then, said Tahiri.
