Russia has demanded that Kosovo not play with the state symbols, but with the flag of the World Federation, which is flatly rejected by Driton Kuka, broadcast Koha.net.
“Masters without Kosovo! They're asking us to give up in Russia state symbols of attending the World Federation flag that we're not going to accept!
Eventually from Russia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs came official answers that Kosovo will not be allowed to participate as a state in the 16 best participating race in any” category, Kuka wrote on Facebook.
Kuka further added that Nora Gjakova and Distria Krasniqi, who are the only ones who have submitted to participate in Masters, are continuing to face political barriers, but that will not stop his team's work.
The grand Masters tournament is expected to be held on December 16th and 17th in St. Russia's Petersburg.
