Following Albania's vote against the US decision to recognise Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, the US Embassy in Tirana has reacted. Following Albania's vote against the US decision to recognise Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, the US Embassy in Tirana has reacted.

This embassy has reiterated the American view of Jerusalem.

“Jerusalem is the centre of the legislature, prime minister and Supreme Court of Israel”, this embassy said in a Facebook post, broadcast Top-Channel.

“We will continue to work for peace. A process we hope to offer the best result for both the Israeli and Palestinian people”, the response concludes.
