Material damage accidents during 2016 were between 11,000 and 230, while during the same January-November 2017 period, there were 10 thousand and 199 or less for 9.18 percent.
During 2017, the total number of accidents marked a decline from 16 thousand to 970 in 2016 to 16 thousand and 122, or 5 percent less.
Police have also been careful to punish offenders in traffic.
The number of tickets released this year has been bigger than last year.
