Kosovo's chief prosecutor, Aleksandar Lumezi, appears to have been considered as the new conduct of the Democratic Party of Kosovo by the group of leaders of this party, now known as clan “Proto”.
Some recordings of conversations from 2011 between Adem Grabovci, Kadri Veselin, Besim Beqaj and Hashim Thaci, who have been broadcast exclusively on KTV, suggest that Lumez's Africa with PDK, at a time when he was chief prosecutor of the District Prosecutor in Pristina.
Talks provided by KTV are part of a discussion among PDK key people about whether Alexander Lumez will become part of the party, writes “Koha Ditore” today.
In 2011, Chief Prosecutor Alexander Lumezi had attempted to become part of the Democratic Party of Kosovo. This is made known by unpublished wiretapping so far, which Kohavision has provided”, KTV reported on Monday evening. “Adem Grabovci, Hashim Thaci, Kadri Veselin and Beqaj are heard trying to secure a position for the chief prosecutor who was then chief prosecutor of the District Prosecutor in Pristina”.
In fact, KTV reports, in one of the talks “Kadri Wessel had said that Leka could also help from the position he was in, for which he had their support”.
The first conversation, held between the former head of the PDK parliamentary group, Adem Grabovci, and then PDK member Besim Beqaj, was said to have taken place at the time when Grabovci and Beqaj had co-ordinated a meeting with the Lumber, in which Grabovci was slightly delayed delayed.
