Opposition protests held Monday in front of the Albanian Parliament, where I rejected the general prosecutor's election with a temporary mandate, have been accompanied by violent protest actions, Koha Ditore writes today.
While a day after the protest, the General Directorate of State Police has officially announced that it has prosecuted 10 opposition deputies, has arrested 6 protesters and two others are investigating them in a free state.
Among those charged by police are LSI chairman and Republika president's wife Monica Mayor and Albania's Deputy Chairman of the Parliament, Edi Paloka.
