Pristina places concrete barriers in squares

The Pristina municipality has placed concrete protections at the entrance of the squares.

Communist officials have told Radio Free Europe that this request has come from Kosovo Police to increase security level During the holiday season.

After the holiday's end, these concrete defenders will leave and everything will come back as before.

However, some citizens have said that Kosovo is not endangered by terrorist attacks and that fear should not be aroused.

The closure for the entrance to concrete-protected squares has also taken place in various European cities.
