Tahiri, in an interview for RTV Dukagjin, has indicated that with Adem Grabovci, he met after a wedding where he had gone to exercise his singer's profession. AKR MP confirmed that Grabovci had talked to him about his vote.

Tahiri says most members of the Democratic Party of Kosovo have had friends, as he said, had met them before before he was involved in politics.

Tahiri has also talked about meetings with current Kosovo prime minister and former candidate for prime minister from coalition PDK-AAK-NISMA. He has said there have been friendly pressures from Haradinaj to vote on the Haradinaj government.
