The opening of two new chapters on Serbia's path to membership in the European Union represents a positive step towards full EU membership.
So has the president of Serbia's Liberal Democratic Party, Cedomir Jovanovic, broadcast Klan Kosova.
He, too, has stated it is clear that Kosovo's open problem is a growing burden for his country.
Jovanovic has said in a statement that the message he received in Brussels suggests that, despite the two open chapters, there is dissatisfaction about relations between Belgrade and Pristina, as a result of delays in negotiations and lack of concrete solutions.
He believes the pressure of leading countries in Europe is increasing to resolve these issues as soon as possible, broadcasts the Kosovo Clan.
