Yevtic told an interview for BIRN that Serbs and Albanians should build mutual confidence and the children of Kosovo Serbs should learn Albanian in order to ensure better communication in the future.
The current key word in Kosovo is trust, which must be built between the two communities and the state institutions,”, he said, adding that recognition of the Albanian language is a must for the Serb community, reports “b92”, broadcast Periscopi.
The majority of middle-aged and elderly Albanians know the Serbian language, which has not happened with the Serb population, and this should change”, says Jevtic.
