The government of the Republic of Kosovo, in its 2 billion-80m-euro budget, destined for 2018, has not allocated more than 53m euros for the Kosovo Security Force and the beginning of its conversion to the Kosovo Armed Forces, writes Indexline.
53m of 667 thousand euros is less than one percent gross social product, which is an indication that in the Government of Kosovo agenda, even this year, it is not presumption of its becoming a regular army.
Indexline finds that according to KSF budget planning for 2018, of 53m euros, 18m euros have been earmarked for capital investments, in which it means building objects, buying equipment for the army, etc.
From that budget, 22 million KSF has it for salaries and hires and has about 11m euros for goods and services.
Meanwhile, according to budget and projections for 2019, there is no increase greater than twom euros.
And for 2020, this budget is projected to be 4m euros in growth compared to 2018.
The same was close to leaving the year behind, where the budget shared by the Kosovo Government for KSF was 51m euros, by which it became impossible to convert the KSF into the Kosovo Army.
