The Bosniak MP in the Kosovo Assembly, Duda Balje, four Serb municipalities in the north, has been referred to as the municipality of Serbia, during the meeting of the Commission for Human Rights, Gender Equality, for people not found and Petitions, in which she is chairman.
This declaration, however, was not deliberate. In a pronomation for “Index”, the MP has cleared up this whole situation. She says that as a Bosniak MP there is no reason to support or favour any of Serbia's policies that harm citizens of the Republic of Kosovo or violate the laws of the Republic of Kosovo.
“I will not allow any journalist and no person in Kosovo to put me on the wrong side of the property and harmful side for a technical language mistake in Kosovo. I have never supported any harmful political initiative for Kosovo. I have supported and voted in benefits and for Kosovo development every time I will act the same way”, she has said.
Furthermore, Balje explains that every day her work is for the Republic of Kosovo and for the future of all.
I thank the member colleagues of the Commission who supported me and supported me in our joint work. I apologize to the citizens for the technical mistake of language trying to speak in Albanian I as Bosnian have no state of reserve with the Albanian language as I know it I will continue to work and act together with my colleagues for the Republic of Kosovo our only country. For no marketing and journalistic public popularity and media I don't allow anyone with a peaceful technical and linguistic error to harm my work, my commitment as deputy,”, she said.
