The Albanian spy in the Constitution is ridiculous and offensive.

He has said that it remains disturbing to define the Albanian language in the constitution that, according to him, is ridiculous and offensive, as in reference: “gidge, which more than twenty percent of the population speak and different from the Macedonian language”, while hoping that in another phase this will be regulated by the constitution.

The Sela welcomed Prime Minister Zoran Zaev's statement of an international investigation into the Kumanovo event. He said his party has also called for an international investigation, but that prior to that, readiness should be shown when defence lawyers demand that various political figures come out as witnesses. Asked on the issue of the Albanian-language bill, the Alliance's chairman for Albanians spoke positively about the process related to its use. He said the law, in a maximum way, uses constitutional right to use Albanian.

The Sela said the Albanian language will be in all institutions of both central or local power and that the right to use it will be realised in a satisfactory manner.

Regarding the Macedonia name issue, the Alliance's chairman for Albanians said the reference “Slavomakodonia” cannot be acceptable to Albanians. He said Macedonia's new government has started all relations with neighbours, stressing the first visit of a Macedonian prime minister to Kosovo:

The good neighbourly reports will make an extraordinary contribution to resolve the conflicts Macedonia has, whether in terms of name, identity or language problems it has with Bulgaria and countries around”.

Asked about the cohesion of Albanian parties after the elections, especially on Alliance for Albanians' reports with DUI, Sela said they are ruined after local elections, while hoping that the table of Albanian parliamentary political parties will work because it is a mechanism, according to him, very important for achieving the equality of Albanians in Macedonia.

He says the joint declaration of Albanian parties has remained in second place, which he views with concern, while stressing the need for commitment and realisation of pledges coming out of the declaration.

Regarding the post of minister of health who has been exercising an ASH member and who has been empty for weeks, Sela says the party insists it maintains the post. This, he said, " “" is a matter of dignity and seriousness”. He blamed DUI for stalling this issue, while the lack of proper response of Prime Minister Zaev named it a “efforts to keep Albanian society in monism”.

“DUI aims to shift the real debate that needs to be held, and the LSDM is interested in a rift among Albanian political subjects to continue with its” projects, Sela said.

He said that if there was a reshape of the entire government, then it would be acceptable even to the ASH, but otherwise it would not only accept the change of position of its minister. /VoA
