A male has been arrested for deadlocking police officials on Friday in Istog. On Thursday, two other policemen ended up at the University Clinical Centre in Kosovo, as a result of injuries they received after being physically attacked by three people in Obilic.
The cases of attacks on its members have been frequented in daily police reports, KTV reports.
On average, it turns out that during 2017 almost every week, there was a physical attack on police officials.
17 of these cases, according to the police, have occurred at the checkpoints in traffic and mainly have to do with refusing the penalty for counter-injury.
Besides these statistics, the Police Media Office has refused to speak to the camera, nor has it provided further details on the matter.
Completely vulnerable to their superiors, but even the justice organs are members of the police forces according to the deputy head of the Police Union.
Also disturbing, according to Shaban Tashal, deputy head of the Police Union, is the fact that attackers of police officers are often released in regular procedure.
While adding that police officers are not treated according to the law for them before the court.
The reason for the intimidation and loss of work, according to Tashol, is that police don't use force when attacked.
