VV requires design of energy development strategy

Vetevendosje's Committee for Energy values the design of energy development, which does not stop at the empty clities of the 18 years but analyzes and predicts how the power zone of thermal power will develop, how the environment and health of the population will be protected, and how [...]
Committee for Energy Notification:
At the table held today by the Energy Committee V This is the subject. Power challenges -- problems in coal mines” -- held their presentations, Chairman Wisar Ymer, Energy Committee Chairman Naim Hoxha, Ismet Raqa and Sylejman Krasniqi, engineers and field experts, as well as MP Donika Kadaj.
Experts with a long working experience in KEK mines expressed high intensity degradation in the coal division. They also presented the widespread abuses that have been done to this sector, where the lack of any vision, planning or strategy was mostly highlighted.
The discussion also sparked the presentation of Chairman Wisar Ymeri, at the construction point of the Qymyr Corporation, which is also the movement's programming proposal. He explained that the re-founding of the Qymyr Public Corporation would include existing mines, fields of exploitation and investigative areas. Ymer also stopped at the increased risk that is being posed by behind-the-back improvised interests as far as the safety of electricity production in Kosovo is concerned. And in this direction, Movement V. THE former will intensify its actions and interventions especially in the Assembly.
Prof. Naim Hoxha said that despite the issues we have addressed the continuation, the situation is continuing to remain the same. He presented problems with governments' decisions as far as handling properties around the mines highlighted the urgent need for the energy sector development strategy as the precondition of economic development.
It is extremely important, the design of energy development strategy that does not stop at the empty clities of these 18 years but that analyzes and predicts how the power plant area will develop as a park, how the environment and health of the population will be protected, and how new power capacities will be built and planned.
Engineer Ismet Raqa presented the state of the mine, the original project for its opening and intentional deviation from the draft idea. The current state of the mine and areas where it is working signal new risks except for those already known as nearby residents, but also the coal crisis in the first six months of the following 2018 year.
Engineering Sylejman Krasniqi, on the other hand, talked about the causes of the energy crisis. The problem of houses in Shippitule and Hades, he sees as a problem that dates back to 2004. The current KEK director wants to reduce the mine to only two acres of land as much as they promised the owners of the sites in Shiplolla. This is a joke of opinion because this is not enough for the width of an excavator”, he said.
Krasniqi also presented data on the millions of abuses being done with KEK public funds by contracting private companies to remove materials from the sweats, while vehicles specialising at work, as well as KEK specialised workers remain without jobs.
The crisis in this sector is created consciously. Similar examples are not missing in the region. It is clear how much of the coal mines within the Kosovo Power Corporation abuses date, at least from 2004 until now. They are generally corrupt but also deliberate. Allowing constructions in declared areas of particular interest, around mines, and diverting the project for opening new mines are two sides of the same medal -- that of the Corporation's deliberate weakening -- and especially of the coal division as the key energy sector in Kosovo.
