The LDK branch's chairman in Prizren, Haxhi Avdyli, has told the newspaper Blic they have had informal meetings with Vetevendosje in this town, but no coalition with this party is expected to happen.
“Unofficial meetings are among various activists, but not high-level meetings, accessing the electorate in Prizren is for change and testifies to 13 thousand votes for Hatim Backshak, but for a few votes he could not enter the runoff, an open coalition with Vetevendosje is not being seen as the need to have”, he said.
The Prizren municipality has gone to a run-off with these candidates: Happily Totaj from the Democratic Party of Kosovo, and Mytaher Haskuka from Vetevendosje.
The third is listed as LDK candidate Hatim Bajzak.
The second round of elections will be held on November 19th.
